DV-Wizard/DV-Wizard-PRO Troubleshooting notes
Make sure you have the latest Direct X and the latest patch for Ulead MediaStudio Pro 6.0 installed on your machine.
Latest Direct X is available from here.
Ulead MediaStudio Pro 6.0 is to be patched in the following order:
1. Ulead MediaStudio Pro 6.0 to 6.0.0.2 patch is available from here
2. Ulead MediaStudio Pro 6.0.0.2 patch is available from here
What Operating systems can the DV-Wizard be installed on?
The DV-Wizard and DV-Wizard-PRO boards may be installed on Windows 98SE, ME, and 2000.
What is the difference between the DV-Wizard and the DV Wizard-PRO?
The DV-Wizard ships with Ulead Video Studio.
The DV-Wizard-PRO ships with Ulead Media Studio Pro 6.0
When playing back my captured files they appear jerky
Enable DMA for your hard drive. You can do this by going to Start/Settings/Control Panel/System/Device Manager. Double click on Disk Drives and then double click on the drive you are capturing to. Click on the Settings tab and put a check mark in the DMA check box. Reboot, and then capture a new file and play it back.
"Cannot find capture driver" errors
Download and install Direct X 8.1 to correct the problem. You may also need to download and install the Ulead Media Studio updates as outlined above.
